Idavaka Mission (Church Mission Ministry)
Each member of Marthoma Church should be an Evangelist. In this way the church should give the leadership for the evangelism of India. In the year 1924, the Sannadha Suvisheshaka Sangham was formed. Edavaka Mission is the unit of the above organization in each Marthoma Church. All the members of the parish who are involved in any voluntary mission work are bonafide members of the Parish Mission.
The main working programs of Edavaka Mission are as follows:

The Edavaka Mission provides the necessary spiritual leadership in the Parish life. Members meet regularly on all Friday evenings for fellowship, intercessory prayer and Bible study. They visit the sick and aged and the houses in distress. The Edavaka Mission took leading roles in arranging the Mission Tour to Wayanad, visit to various Mission fields, the Lay Training classes, Discussion on subjects of concern and contemporary issues. Our Edavaka Mission is actively participating in all the programmes of the Centre, Diocese and Kendra level.

The Edavaka Mission is arranging tea to all participants in our Sunday worship services, thus providing a time space for interaction and fellowship of members as well.
